Born in Philadelphia and raised in a loving home where all types of music was appreciated, dee grew up surrounded by music. His father having been an audio engineer and DJ, its no surprise that he would catch the music bug. A graduate of Overbrook High in Philadelphia, a music magnet school, he really honed his skill as a lyricist writing to the compositions of others. A huge fan of the masters of yesteryear such as Smokey Robinson, Stevie Wonder and Curtis Mayfield, dee often tries to emulate their style with his own brand of mastery. No stranger to the inner workings of a recording studio, he is also a skilled composer and arranger. One of many producers at MelodicSoul, dee Grose is yet another one to both watch and listen for.
